Multiple Bites Reported in Texas and Florida

The Fourth of July holiday took a sinister turn as several beachgoers fell victim to shark attacks in the waters around Texas and Florida.

In South Padre Island, Texas, three swimmers were attacked, with one sustaining a severe leg injury. A 21-year-old man was also bitten in a separate incident.

In Florida, a swarm of three individuals was attacked, resulting in injuries to an 18-year-old girl and a 36-year-old woman. A 46-year-old man also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding these attacks and cautioning beachgoers to remain vigilant in the water.
